Whole Body Cryotherapy is a 100% safe and natural modality, where individuals have experienced a decrease in inflammation, increase cellular survival, reduced pain and simply feel their overall health has improved. During a cryotherapy session, blood rushes through the core as a counter effect to the skin’s surface reacting to the extreme freezing temperature. In turn, the natural effect increases oxygenation and nutrients with the blood which can flush toxins, reduce inflammation and accelerate the body’s natural recovery.

What to expect when using the Titan Cryo Cabin:

Stand in the TITAN™ CryoCabin for up to 3 minutes while the body is enveloped by hyper-cooled air at -220ºF (-140ºC).

The cryo-technician will first elevate the electronic lift so that your shoulders are even with the top of the unit.

During your cryo session the cold air penetrates just 0.5mm into the skin – this causes the skin’s surface to cool to 30ºF

Once the session is complete, the timer goes off and automatically lowers the lift to allow you to exit.

Titan Cryo Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity of your equipment and that your units are operating at their full potential. Keeping a regular maintenance schedule will maintain the high quality of your equipment and ensure your clients are having the best experience possible.

Run the “dry” cycle end of business each day
Clean any debris from unit every morning before operation
Empty any remaining water in drip pain that was not fully evaporated rom dry cycle
Empty water from compressor reservoir, as needed

Titan Cryo FAQs

How often can users get whole body cryotherapy?: No more than two times a day if you are in heavy training or rehab. Otherwise, a consistent regiment of two or three times a week is generally adequate for most individuals.

Will people feel claustrophobic in the CryoCabin?: You shouldn’t. We elevate your body by raising the floor to ensure your head is above the rim of the CryoCabin. Furthermore, the door is never locked. If needed, you can always push open the door and step out of the CryoCabin.

Are there risks associated with whole body Cryotherapy?

RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH WHOLE BODY CRYOTHERAPY
Fluctuations in blood pressure (due to peripheral vasoconstriction, systolic blood pressure may briefly increase by up to 10 points during session. This effect should reverse after the end of the procedure, as peripheral circulation returns to normal), allergic reaction to extreme cold (rare), claustrophobia, anxiety, activation of some viral conditions (cold sores) etc. due to stimulation of the immune system.

hypothyroidism; narrowing of valves; crescent-shaped aorta and mitral valve; chronic disease of the respiratory system; severe hypertension (blood pressure > 180/100), acute or recent myocardial infarction (heart attack; need to be cleared for exercise), arrhythmia, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, acute or recent cerebrovascular accident (stroke; must be cleared for exercise), uncontrolled seizures, fever, symptomatic lung disorders, bleeding disorders, infection, claustrophobia, intolerance to cold, age less than 18 years (parental consent to session needed), incontinence.
